In Russian, we use the Genitive for the nouns denoting the things being counted.
The rule of picking SN NOM, SN GEN or PL GEN is applicable to all nouns.
The table below contains the relevant forms of most of the nouns ending with a hard consonant.
Mind the stress shifted (indicated by a capital letter).
